Lugansk Aircraft Repair Plant was founded in August 1946, on the basis of stationary repair workshops created at Lugansk School of Pilots in 1931.

Starting from the moment when the UT-2 aircraft was repaired and tested for the first time in August 1931, and as result of long-term experience in repairing aircraft and piston and jet engines, the enterprise has established an integrated and primary principle of its activity: “Quality, Reliability, Guarantee”.

Since the end of 50-s Lugansk ARP has been specialized in repairing aircraft engines.

The experience of repair works and quality control system built according to international standards allow to assure high quality of the repair and guaranteed relia¬bility of repaired engines with the highest operational performances. The plant has Certificate of approval to Quality Management System requirements ISO 9001:2000 no. S 2002.3779/01.

Nowadays Lugansk Aircraft Repair Plant is an inde¬pendent, economically stable and up-to-date enterprise having a staff of highly qualified aviation experts, advanced infrastructure and tech¬nical base, complete set of technological equip¬ment allowing to perform complicated technological processes of the aviation hardware repair.

The main trends of the enterprise activity are as follows:

• overhaul repair of R-29-300 (R-29B-300) turbo-jet aircraft engines of series 1, 2, 3, 4, and R-35-300 (0A, 0A-2) for MiG-23 and MiG-27 aircraft;
• overhaul repair of TV3-117 turbo-shaft aircraft engines for Mi-8MT (MTV), Mi-14, Mi-17, Mi-24, Mi-25, Mi-28. Ka-27, Ka-29, Ka-32, Ka-50 and Ka-52 helicopters;
• overhaul repair of the assemblies of fuel, oil and air systems as well as electro-automatic units of the above stated engines;
• renovation repair works and re-equipment of RD 45, VK 1 and TV3-117 aircraft engines, having worked-out set flight resources, to be used in different branches of the national economy as heat and gas gen¬erating facilities.

With the aim of fur¬ther development of pro¬duction capacities, the enterprise is carrying out the works on mastering new, for the ARP, types of aviation hardware. Enterprise received appropriate certificates for overhaul of TV3-117A (AG) engines widely used on Mi-8T(TV), Mi-8P(PS).

The works on repair of main reducers VR-24, VR-14 and VR-8A installed on Mil helicopters are almost completed.

Researches in the sphere of marketing and flexible policy in the sphere of industrial economy and distribution of financial means gave a possibility to arrange purchase of the most advanced technologies and equipment of the world leading companies of Germany and France for the following purposes:

• production of non-soldered aluminium radiators for cars “ZAZ-1102, 1105”, “VAZ 2106-2110”, “IZH-2126” with 0.9 to 2.5-litre motor capacity;
• production of polyethylene pre-forms and reservoirs for food and technical liquids of various capacities and forms;
• processing of secondary stuff of polyethylene materials and production of up-to-date facing materi¬als of them.

While implementing the requirements of international standards in the sphere of product quality assurance and efficiency raise of production management system, the enterprise carries out steady perfec¬tion of technical base, introduction of new advanced technologies, as well as update and application of electronic computers for modeling and processing of operational parameters of machine and test equip¬ment.

The technical base and the level of training of the specialists allow to carry out researches on the extension of resource indices of engines and their assemblies, and re-modification of the TV3-117 type engines.

The ARP has a training base for instruction of the Customer experts in the processes of repair of aircraft engines and their assemblies. Experts of the Plant help the Customer to set in a proper way operation and maintenance of the hardware repaired by Lugansk ARP and perform the whole complex of guaranty maintenance services.

Lugansk Aircraft Repair Plant guarantees the Customer in-time delivery of hligh quality products meeting rigid requirements of the world market. The quality of our products is the absolute correspondence to the Customer requirements. Meanwhile laying a firm foundation for the future, the staff of the enterprise treats carefully the history of aviation in order to preserve aviation traditions. Thus, there was created a museum of the aircraft which exposition is being constantly widened. At the moment, the museum has gathered more than 60 flying vehicles and aircraft engines ranging from the first piston ones and up to the modern turbo jet engines.

Lugansk Aircraft Repair Plant invites for cooperation all the persons interested in repair and maintenance of the aircraft and engines, execution of orders on fabrication of radiators, polyethylene pre-forms and reservoirs, introduction of new advanced technologies, training of specialists and adjustment of new manufacturing processes for different types of products.
