“Chuguev Aircraft Repair Plant”

The State Enterprise of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Chuguyiv Aircraft Repair Plant was founded in 1938. During the years of the Great Patriotic War there have been repaired 584 1-16, LaG-9, Yak-7 aircraft and 1052 M-105 and ASh-82 air¬craft engines. In the post-war years the enterprise has adjusted and performed quality repair of the aircraft as follows: La-9, Yak-15, MiG-15, MiG-15 UTI (training), L-29 and ASh-21, VK-1 and M-701 aircraft engines. In 1975, the enterprise adjusted the major overhaul of the aircraft of MiG-23MF. MiG-23MS, MiG-23ML and MiG-23UB types. Only in 1990, there have been repaired 130 aircraft of MiG-23 type and 1000 M-701s500 aircraft engines. Since 1995, the enterprise has adjusted the repair of the L-39 aircraft. From 1995 to 1999, there have been repaired more than 40 aircraft. During the years of being, the Plant has been repairing the machinery of Bulgaria, Iran, Libya, Algeria, Cuba, China and Poland. A training base being available, the enterprise has been instructing the specialists from Bulgaria, Iran, Cuba, Germany, Poland and India in repair and operation of the aircraft, and engines.

Nowadays, clue to existing production capacities and trained experts, the enterprise is capable of carrying out the overhaul of L-29, L-39, MiG-23 aircraft of all versions and M-701s500 aircraft engines.

The enterprise basic activity is overhaul of aircraft L-39, MiG - 23 of all modifications and their modernization (in cooperation with Research Institutes). In March, 2005 the enterprise quality management system passed out certification in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2000. Precise structural and technological organization of manufacture, modern technical maintenance, and realization at all stages of quality surveillance allow the enterprise to offer to the customer on mutually advantageous conditions the following services:

• repair of units, knots and systems of aircraft MiG-21, MiG -27, MiG - 29, Su-17 (Su-22), Su-25, Su-27;
• providing the customer with the particular repair and operational documentation;
• supplying spare parts for aircraft and engine;
• ensuring the technical support of aircraft and engine during a warranty period of operation;
• teaching the customer's experts regulations of aviation techniques service on the basis of Special Educational and Training Complex;
• prolongation of aircraft specified life;
• consulting services in organization of aircraft repair in the customer's base;
• repair and test of the control-measuring and inspection equipment;
• repair of auxiliary power unit "Sapfire 5" of aircraft L-39;
• manufacturing of ground service means, equipment for transportation.

MiG-23

Saving traditions of reliability and quality of repair of aircraft MiG- 23 family, “Chuguev Aircraft Repair Plant” is ready to offer to the partners all services in modernization of these unique fighters, equipping them with modern systems of target designation, flight data recording, sighting complexes, GPS system.

The following works are carried out at the enterprise during the overhaul of aircraft MiG-23:

• aircraft overhaul including verification of aircraft systems serviceability in assembly,
• flight tests performance,
• performance of the bulletins and works directed on prolongation of overhaul and specified life with involving of the developer,
• technical support during a warranty period and after its termination.

L-39

Specializing mainly in overhaul and modernization of aircraft L-39 of all types, the enterprise offers:

• aircraft overhaul,
• performance of a complex of repair work directed on aircraft life prolongation,
• aircraft modification with the replacement of FD (flight data recorder (ÑÀÐÏÏ-12)) with the onboard emergency-service recorder of flight data ÁÓÐ - 4-1. tested in practice that will allow the customer:

(UAV) “STREPET” is high-automated carrier of the various equipment and is designed for performance of the following tasks:

• investigation;
• patrolling;
• supervision with accumulation and transfer of the information about the object;
• search, detection of objects, tracking them with possible influence;
• transportation of easy cargoes;
• performance of air-chemical works
• realization of special monitoring;
• relaying, switching, routing and transformation of signals of connection;
• the fulfillment of applied scientific tasks.
